Network Reliability & Environment
We achieve the highest-possible network uptime for our customers through multiple connections to Tier 1 Service Providers and redundant Cisco catalyst switches. Additionally, we use numerous climate control and filtration systems, iris scan entry, guard security, and redundant power systems, including a generator and battery backup.
Systems
We use only high-quality, name brand components in our data centers. Our redundant Cisco Arrowpoint content switches manage traffic to and from a large array of Sun Solaris servers that are NFS mounted to terabytes of Network Appliance data storage. If one server in the array happens to go offline or just drop a single packet, the Arrowpoint will resend the packet to the next server in the array ensuring that every request is served. We monitor our network and systems 24/7/365, and have implemented the latest automated technology to immediately correct any systemic problems. In other words, it would take a cataclysmic event for our Unix shared environment to go down.

We designed our hosting plan to provide the most valuable features and services for the lowest price. Our plan includes a generous amount of all the features most of our customers need, but we also offer a variety of upgrade options. You can add these additional features to your hosting plan when you order, or as needed in your Control Panel. Optional services include:
Disk Space
Every HostSave account comes with 1000 MB of disk space, which is equivalent to about 20,000 webpages. Disk space refers to the amount of storage space your files are allowed to take up on our servers. You can add additional disk space to your account in 10 MB increments for $5.00/month.
Domain Pointers
Domain pointers, also known as domain aliases, allow you to redirect other domain names to your primary HostSave domain. For example, if you have both mydomainname.com and mydomainname.net registered with us, you can use a domain pointer to redirect visitors from mydomainname.net to mydomainname.com. Once a domain pointer is setup, a visitor going to mydomainname.net would be taken to mydomainname.com. Using a domain pointer, you can take advantage of owning several domains but only having to update and host one web site.
You can setup Domain Pointers for $1/month by contacting us.
Note: we are unable to point the domain names to subdirectories of your primary domain. For instance, mydomainname.net could only point to mydomainname.com, not mydomainname.com/files.
Email Accounts
HostSave accounts include 500 email accounts. You can purchase an additional 5 email accounts for $5/month.
NetMechanic®
These powerful website enhancement tools from NetMechanic will enable you to maintain, promote and monitor your website.
Search Engine Starter, NetMechanic's very popular search engine submission service automatically submits your website to 100 top search engines and tracks responses.
HTML Toolbox, NetMechanic's suite of site improvement and maintenance tools is designed to check and repair HTML, check website links, verify and report ways to improve load time, and check for spelling errors.
Both of these powerful website management tools are available for only $34.95 for a 12-month subscription.
VeriSign Shared Hosting Security Service
